Looking for your fortune in 2018? What better way than to look for pirate treasure? (Probably any other way is better but let’s just go with it). This week’s double feature has a piratey theme as we watch Pirates of the Caribbean and the Goonies!
Although both of these films are technically kid friendly, this post will be including drinking games, so please keep that in mind while reading.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl – Hopefully you have the good sense to be drinking rum for this one. Where has the rum gone you may ask? Down the hatch my friend!
- Monkey see monkey do. Take a drink whenever you see a pirate drinking.
- Ahoy matey! We be setting trends with our piratey-hipter talk. Take a drink every time someone says “savvy” or “poppet”
- Shiver me timbers! That Captain Jack does some crazy stuff! Take a swig every time Jack does a crazy stunt.
- Sweet doubloons! That booty be cursed! Take a drink every time the Aztec gold appears.
- Keep to the code! Drink every time someone says “parlay”
The Goonies
A classic! What’s better than running for your lives and searching for pirate treasure?? Nothing.
- My oh my, that Chuck seems to like food a lot. Drink every time that kid eats something.
- Music to my ears. Take a drink every time Sloth says “Hey you guys!”
- Data the genius! Drink every time Data uses an invention.
- Good booby traps will probably result in dead people. Take a drink every time someone deceased appears.
- TREASURE! That’s what it’s all about folks! Take a drink every time someone says “treasure”
